Dragonmaid is a Dragon Fusion deck built on pairs. A small maid on the field and its Dragon form in the GY make Lady’s Dragonmaid, and in their Standby Phase Lady’s turns that pair into Dragonmaid Sheou, an omni-negate. This list adds a Branded engine for extenders, going second, and hands with no maid. Every line here is built on the decklist near the end of this page, under the Forbidden/Limited list that took effect on September 3, 2026.
Pairs
| Small maid | Attribute · Level | When it’s summoned | Dragon form | Level | The Dragon form in your hand |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Parlor Dragonmaid | WIND · 3 | Sends a Dragonmaid card from your Deck to the GY | Dragonmaid Lorpar | 8 | Discard it on your turn: a face-up monster can’t activate its effects on the field this turn |
| Kitchen Dragonmaid | FIRE · 3 | Adds a Dragonmaid monster, then sends a Dragonmaid monster from your hand to the GY | Dragonmaid Tinkhec | 8 | Quick Effect: discard it to give a Dragonmaid 2000 ATK this turn |
| Chamber Dragonmaid | DARK · 4 | Adds a Dragonmaid Spell/Trap | Dragonmaid Cehrmba | 9 | Discard it to summon a Dragonmaid from your GY or banishment |
Lady's Dragonmaid
- Her summon: banish the pair, one from your field and one from your GY. It doesn’t start a chain, so only a card that negates a Summon, like Solemn Strike, can stop it.
- When she’s Special Summoned: she summons Kitchen, Parlor or Chamber from your Deck.
- In either player’s Standby Phase: she Fusion Summons a Dragon Fusion by shuffling its materials from your field and/or your banishment back into the Deck. The pair she banished is exactly what Dragonmaid Sheou needs: a Dragonmaid plus a Level 5 or higher Dragon.
- Each of her effects is once per turn.
- Once she’s been summoned her own way, she can be revived.
Sheou and House
- Dragonmaid Sheou: a Quick Effect negates anything they activate and destroys that card, then Sheou goes back to your Extra Deck and House Dragonmaid comes out in its place. In each Standby Phase, Sheou also summons a Level 9 or lower Dragonmaid from your hand or GY.
- House Dragonmaid: whenever another face-up Dragon you control returns to your hand, House destroys one of their monsters. There’s no once-per-turn limit, but it misses timing: the return has to be the last thing that happened.
Engine
- A small maidNormal Summon it. Its effect puts its Dragon form in the GY (Parlor sends, Kitchen adds then sends), or searches the Spell that does (Chamber).
- Lady'sBanish the pair. Lady’s summons a second small maid from your Deck, and its summon effect triggers.
- SealLink two Dragons into Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres in an Extra Monster Zone. Lady’s has to be on the field when your turn ends: if she was Link material, Hospitality brings her back.
- Their Standby PhaseLady’s fuses the banished pair into Sheou, and Sheou summons a maid from your GY.
- Their turnSheou negates and becomes House. Seal bounces a card and, if it Tributed itself, floats Fallen of Albaz to fuse away one of their monsters.
↺ Every Dragonmaid line follows this loop.
Once per turn, by name
A second copy doesn’t reset any of these. On their turn they’re all available again.
- Each small maid’s summon effect, and its Battle Phase effect
- Each of Lady’s effects, and each of Sheou’s
- One Dragonmaid Hospitality activation
- One Dragonmaid Tidying effect, whichever one
- Changeover’s GY effect, Cehrmba’s discard, Lorpar’s and Tinkhec’s discards
- Seal’s bounce (once per their turn) and its float (once per turn)
- One F&V, one High Spirits effect, each FotWD effect
Locks and zones
- Fallen of the White Dragon from your hand: for the rest of the turn you can only summon Level 8 Fusion and Synchro Monsters from the Extra Deck. No Striker Dragon, no Seal, no S:P, no House (Level 9) or Sheou (Level 10); Lady’s and Filia Regis (Level 8) still work. Play it after Seal.
- Seal’s bounce works only from an Extra Monster Zone. Link Summon it there.
- Kitchen’s send isn’t optional. After it adds a card, a Dragonmaid monster from your hand goes to the GY.
- Don’t revive the banished pair. Cehrmba can summon from banishment, but Lady’s needs that pair there in their Standby Phase.
What the Branded cards are for
- F&V is the point. The Branded cards are there to get it onto your board.
- Branded in High Spirits in your Draw Phase baits Ash with a maid in your hand. You don’t have to discard your only starter, and if it resolves you Set F&V in the End Phase.
- Fallen of the White Dragon goes after the maid combo. It gives you a free Level 8 Synchro (Borreload) and F&V.
- Seal is the bridge from the maids to Albaz. On their turn it summons Albaz or FotWD, and Albaz fuses with their monsters.
Going first
Line 1: Parlor alone
Normal Summon Parlor Dragonmaid. Its effect sends Dragonmaid Lorpar from your Deck to the GY.
Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing Parlor from your field and Lorpar from your GY. Lady’s effect Special Summons Chamber Dragonmaid from your Deck, and Chamber adds Dragonmaid Hospitality.
Link Summon Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres using Lady’s and Chamber, in an Extra Monster Zone.
Activate Hospitality: Special Summon Lady’s from your GY in Defense Position. End your turn.
In their Standby Phase, Lady’s effect Fusion Summons Dragonmaid Sheou by shuffling Parlor and Lorpar from your banishment into the Deck.
Sheou’s Standby Phase effect: Special Summon Chamber from your GY. Chamber adds your second Hospitality.
Starting with Kitchen or Sangen Kaimen
Kitchen is the best one-card starter: Sangen Kaimen makes it a fourth copy, and its add can take whichever Dragonmaid your hand is missing. Its weak spot is Droll, because it adds twice (see Droll on Kitchen). The line is the same with the FIRE pair.
Activate Sangen Kaimen and add Kitchen Dragonmaid from your Deck. Skip this if Kitchen is already in your hand.
Normal Summon Kitchen Dragonmaid. Its effect adds Dragonmaid Tinkhec, then sends Tinkhec from your hand to the GY.
Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing Kitchen from your field and Tinkhec from your GY. Lady’s summons Chamber from your Deck, and Chamber adds Hospitality.
Link Summon Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres using Lady’s and Chamber, in an Extra Monster Zone.
Activate Hospitality: Special Summon Lady’s from your GY in Defense Position. End your turn.
In their Standby Phase, Lady’s fuses Kitchen and Tinkhec into Sheou, and Sheou summons Chamber from your GY. Chamber adds your second Hospitality.
Line 1, Striker Dragon version
Normal Summon Parlor Dragonmaid. Its effect sends Dragonmaid Lorpar from your Deck to the GY.
Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing Parlor from your field and Lorpar from your GY. Lady’s effect Special Summons Chamber Dragonmaid from your Deck, and Chamber adds Dragonmaid Hospitality.
Link Summon Striker Dragon using Chamber, in an Extra Monster Zone.
Activate Hospitality: Special Summon Chamber from your GY in Defense Position, then send Dragonmaid Cehrmba from your Deck to the GY.
Link Summon Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres using Chamber and Striker Dragon, in the Extra Monster Zone Striker Dragon leaves. End your turn.
In their Standby Phase, Lady’s effect Fusion Summons Dragonmaid Sheou by shuffling Parlor and Lorpar from your banishment into the Deck. Sheou summons Cehrmba from your GY, or Chamber if you’d rather have a search. While Cehrmba is face-up, your opponent’s card effects can’t destroy your Dragon Fusion Monsters: Lady’s, Sheou, and House Dragonmaid (when Sheou negates, it goes back to the Extra Deck and House comes out in its place). It doesn’t stop banishing, bouncing or negating.
Starting with Kitchen or Sangen Kaimen
Activate Sangen Kaimen and add Kitchen Dragonmaid from your Deck. Skip this if Kitchen is already in your hand.
Normal Summon Kitchen Dragonmaid. Its effect adds Dragonmaid Tinkhec, then sends Tinkhec from your hand to the GY.
Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing Kitchen from your field and Tinkhec from your GY. Lady’s summons Chamber from your Deck, and Chamber adds Hospitality.
In their Standby Phase, Lady’s fuses Kitchen and Tinkhec into Sheou, and Sheou summons Cehrmba from your GY, or Chamber if you’d rather have a search.
| Line 1 | Striker Dragon version | |
|---|---|---|
| Summons | 5, and Seal is the 4th | 6, and Seal is the 6th |
| Ghost Belle on Hospitality, or a Bystial in response | Lady’s is lost in the GY: you keep Seal, no Sheou | Lady’s is still on the field: Link her with Striker Dragon into Seal, or keep her for Sheou |
| Nibiru | It can only come after Seal: Seal floats Albaz, which fuses with Nibiru. No Sheou. | It comes on Chamber, before Seal, and Tributes Lady’s, Chamber and Striker Dragon. Nothing left. |
| Maxx “C” | 4 draws for them | 5 draws for them |
| Fallen of the White Dragon in hand | No Link in your GY, so no Borreload | Striker Dragon is in your GY for Line 4 |
| Sheou summons | Chamber, which searches | Cehrmba (protects your Fusions) or Chamber |
Which to play
- Holding FotWD: the Striker Dragon version, for Line 4.
- Otherwise it’s a trade. Line 1 costs less against Maxx “C” and Nibiru. The Striker Dragon version costs less against Ghost Belle and Bystials, which are about twice as common as Nibiru in top lists (29% and 25%, against 12%). Going first you don’t know their deck, so pick by which loss you’d rather take: Sheou (Line 1) or Seal (Striker Dragon version).
Line 2: Chamber alone
Normal Summon Chamber Dragonmaid and add Dragonmaid Hospitality.
Link Summon Striker Dragon using Chamber, in an Extra Monster Zone.
Activate Hospitality: Special Summon Chamber from your GY in Defense Position, then send Dragonmaid Cehrmba from your Deck to the GY.
Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing Chamber from your field and Cehrmba from your GY. Lady’s summons Parlor Dragonmaid from your Deck, and Parlor sends Dragonmaid Tidying to the GY, or Changeover if Tidying is in your hand (then Set Tidying before you end your turn).
Link Summon Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres using Parlor and Striker Dragon, in the Extra Monster Zone. End your turn.
In their Standby Phase, Lady’s fuses Chamber and Cehrmba from your banishment into Dragonmaid Sheou.
Sheou summons Parlor from your GY, and Parlor sends Chamber from your Deck to the GY.
Line 3: Kitchen + Chamber
Normal Summon Kitchen Dragonmaid. Its effect adds Dragonmaid Cehrmba (any other Dragonmaid if Cehrmba is already in your hand), then sends Chamber from your hand to the GY.
Discard Cehrmba: Special Summon Chamber from your GY. Chamber adds Dragonmaid Tidying.
Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing Chamber from your field and Cehrmba from your GY. Lady’s summons Parlor Dragonmaid from your Deck, and Parlor sends Dragonmaid Lorpar to the GY, or Changeover if Lorpar is in your hand.
Link Summon Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres using Parlor and Kitchen, in an Extra Monster Zone. Set Tidying and end your turn.
In their Standby Phase, Lady’s fuses Chamber and Cehrmba into Dragonmaid Sheou, and Sheou summons Parlor from your GY. Parlor sends Changeover to the GY, or Cehrmba if Changeover isn’t in your Deck.
Line 4: Add the Branded engine
Play Line 2, or Line 1’s Striker Dragon version, up to the Link Summon of Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres.
Fallen of the White Dragon’s hand effect: send Albion the Branded Dragon from your Extra Deck to the GY and Special Summon FotWD. Its summon effect Special Summons Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous from your Deck.
Synchro Summon Borreload Savage Dragon using Ecclesia and FotWD. Its effect equips Striker Dragon from your GY and places 1 Borrel Counter on Borreload.
In the End Phase, Albion Sets The Fallen & The Virtuous from your Deck, and Ecclesia returns to your hand from the GY.
High Spirits in your Draw Phase
This works with any maid line, including the Other hands rows. It baits Ash before your Normal Summon (High Spirits adds from the Deck, so Ash can hit it), and it costs you no starter. You need the maid itself in your hand to reveal: Sangen Kaimen is a Spell.
In your Draw Phase, activate High Spirits: reveal your maid and send Albion from your Extra Deck. Don’t discard the maid if it’s your only starter.
Then play your line as usual.
In the End Phase, Albion Sets The Fallen & The Virtuous from your Deck.
Their turn: Sheou negate, Seal bounce, Albaz from Seal, F&V.
If they Ash it, nothing is sent and you get no F&V, but that Ash is gone before your maid searches.
High Spirits for FotWD
With a spare Dragon to reveal (Lubellion or a Bystial), discard it and take FotWD as well. Not Albaz: Seal’s float and Incredible Ecclesia only summon it from your hand or Deck, so a discarded Albaz can’t come out on their turn. If Albaz is your only spare Dragon, reveal your maid and keep it, as above.
In your Draw Phase, activate High Spirits: reveal your spare Dragon (Lubellion or a Bystial), send Albion from your Extra Deck, discard that Dragon and add Fallen of the White Dragon.
After Seal:
Fallen of the White Dragon’s hand effect: send Titaniklad the Ash Dragon from your Extra Deck to the GY and Special Summon FotWD.
In the End Phase, Albion Sets The Fallen & The Virtuous from your Deck, Titaniklad adds Fallen of Albaz or the second FotWD, and Ecclesia returns to your hand from the GY.
There’s one Albion, so it’s one Set F&V either way.
Line 5: Fallen of the White Dragon, no maid
Fallen of the White Dragon’s hand effect: send Albion the Branded Dragon from your Extra Deck to the GY and Special Summon FotWD. Its summon effect Special Summons Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous from your Deck.
Synchro Summon Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon using Ecclesia and FotWD.
In the End Phase, Albion Sets The Fallen & The Virtuous from your Deck, and Ecclesia returns to your hand from the GY.
Their turn
- SheouNegate their first real play. Sheou destroys that card, goes back to your Extra Deck, and House Dragonmaid takes its zone. House is what makes Tidying a two-card play.
- TidyingActivate it at Chain Link 1 (when they summon, or when they pass to you): return your small maid or Cehrmba and their best card to the hand. With House on the field, that return makes House destroy one of their monsters. Lady’s doesn’t work for this: she goes to the Extra Deck.
- Borreload and F&VBorreload negates one activation. F&V destroys a face-up card; send Titaniklad, Mirrorjade, Alba-Lenatus, Dogma or Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon as its cost.
- Seal, then AlbazWait for their key monster. Tribute Seal itself to bounce a face-up card (it doesn’t target). Seal then summons Fallen of Albaz from your Deck at 0 ATK. Discard a card, and Albaz fuses with one of their monsters (which Fusion). Seal’s float needs a free Main Monster Zone. With two free zones, FotWD works too: it summons Ecclesia, and Ecclesia’s Quick Effect Tributes itself for Albaz.
- Ecclesia and the Dark DragonIn their Main Phase it banishes itself until the End Phase to summon Fallen of Albaz, which fuses the same way.
How the counts work
Each item in a line’s interruption list is one play on their turn that negates or removes one of their cards. Some depend on each other, so they don’t all happen every game:
- House destroy after Sheou: House only exists once Sheou has negated something, and Tidying (or Filia) has to return your maid at Chain Link 1.
- Seal bounce and Albaz from Seal: one Seal activation that Tributes Seal itself. The Albaz half also needs a card to discard, one of their monsters, a free Main Monster Zone, and Fallen of Albaz still in your Deck or hand.
- F&V: one a turn, so a Set F&V and one in your hand are still one play.
Not counted, but there
- Mirrorjade: when Albaz fuses with one of their Extra Deck monsters, Mirrorjade can then banish another monster as a Quick Effect (send an Albaz Fusion from your Extra Deck).
- Tidying in your GY: brings back Sheou or Lady’s in Defense Position if they sent it to the GY (not if they banished or bounced it).
- Battle Phase swaps: Parlor and Chamber’s Battle Phase effects also work in their Battle Phase. With House out, returning one to your hand destroys a monster, and it summons a Level 8 (Parlor) or Level 7+ (Chamber) Dragonmaid from your hand or GY.
Mirrorjade on their side
Branded and Dracotail play Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon. If your card sends their Fusion Summoned Mirrorjade to the GY or banishes it, all your monsters are destroyed in that End Phase. Sheou’s negate (it destroys Mirrorjade), F&V and Albaz using it as material all set it off. Returning it to the Extra Deck doesn’t, so Seal’s bounce and Tidying are the safe answers. If you have to destroy it, get Cehrmba face-up first: it keeps your Dragon Fusions, and Lorpar and Tinkhec are safe while you control a Fusion. Line 1, Line 2 and the two-card lines don’t put Cehrmba on the field; the Striker Dragon version of Line 1 does (Sheou summons Cehrmba). A Cehrmba summoned by Tidying doesn’t cover the wipe: it goes back to your hand in that same End Phase.

| Hospitality + Lorpar, Tinkhec or Cehrmba | Activate Hospitality: Special Summon the Dragon form (Lorpar, Tinkhec or Cehrmba) from your hand in Defense Position, then send its small maid from your Deck to the GY: Parlor for Lorpar, Kitchen for Tinkhec, Chamber for Cehrmba. Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing the Dragon form from your field and the small maid from your GY. Lady’s summons Chamber from your Deck, and Chamber adds Dragonmaid Tidying. Set Tidying and end your turn. In their Standby Phase, Lady’s fuses the banished pair into Dragonmaid Sheou. | Lady’s, Chamber, Sheou + Set Tidying, no Seal. Their turn: Sheou negate, Tidying, House destroy after Sheou |
| Hospitality + Lorpar, Tinkhec or Cehrmba + Tidying | Activate Hospitality: Special Summon the Dragon form (Lorpar, Tinkhec or Cehrmba) from your hand in Defense Position, then send its small maid from your Deck to the GY: Parlor for Lorpar, Kitchen for Tinkhec, Chamber for Cehrmba. Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing the Dragon form from your field and the small maid from your GY. Lady’s summons Chamber from your Deck, and Chamber adds Dragonmaid Changeover.
| High Spirits + Lubellion, a Bystial or Albaz | Activate High Spirits: reveal Lubellion, a Bystial or Albaz, send Albion from your Extra Deck, discard that Dragon and add Fallen of the White Dragon. Fallen of the White Dragon’s hand effect: send Titaniklad the Ash Dragon from your Extra Deck to the GY and Special Summon FotWD. Its summon effect Special Summons Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous from your Deck. Synchro Summon Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon using Ecclesia and FotWD. In the End Phase, Albion Sets The Fallen & The Virtuous from your Deck, Titaniklad adds the second FotWD, and Ecclesia returns to your hand from the GY. | Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon + Set F&V |
| Incredible Ecclesia alone | Normal Summon Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous. Its Quick Effect Tributes it to Special Summon Fallen of the White Dragon from your Deck, and FotWD’s summon effect brings Ecclesia back from your GY. Synchro Summon Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon using Ecclesia and FotWD. | Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon. Their turn: Albaz from Ecclesia |
| Bricks | No small maid, Sangen Kaimen, FotWD or Ecclesia, and no Hospitality with a Dragon form or High Spirits with a spare Dragon. Lubellion, the Bystials, Albaz, Changeover, Tidying, Branded Regained and F&V start nothing by themselves going first. Two copies of the same small maid play like one. | — |
Notes on the table
- Parlor + Hospitality: whatever Kitchen adds goes straight back to the GY, since it’s the only Dragonmaid in your hand. Cehrmba is the useful one to have there. Kitchen can’t add another Kitchen.
- Set any F&V you drew. A Quick-Play in your hand can’t be used on their turn, but a Set one can. It adds a destroy to every line.
- Lubellion and the Bystials are extenders. After your line, send Lubellion from your hand to add a Bystial, and summon the Bystial by banishing Lubellion itself (it’s LIGHT) from your GY. Don’t banish the Chamber Sheou will summon in Line 1, or the Striker Dragon Line 4 needs. Magnamhut adds a Dragon in the End Phase, such as a small maid for your next turn. The Bystial takes a Main Monster Zone that Seal’s float may need.
- Hospitality with no Dragon form in your hand still needs a maid: it’s an extender, not a starter.
- Two copies of one maid: the second copy’s summon effect is already spent, so play the one-card line.
How often you open it
Out of every possible 5-card opening hand, before the opponent does anything:
- 78.3% have a small maid or Sangen Kaimen: Lady’s and Seal on your turn, Sheou on theirs.
- 52.3% also have a second piece (another small maid, Hospitality, Cehrmba, Tidying, or Tinkhec with Kitchen) for a Set Tidying.
- 37.1% have a maid plus FotWD or High Spirits for Line 4. Counting an F&V you drew, 51.7% end with a Set F&V.
- 15.2% have no maid but a Branded or Hospitality line (Line 5 and the last rows above).
- 6.5% have no line.
Going second
- Read the boardWhat negates, what’s protected, and whether Mirrorjade is there (see Their turn).
- Shut off their negateLorpar from your hand: discard it on your turn and their monster can’t activate its effects on the field this turn. F&V destroys a face-up card, and its cost is paid from your Extra Deck.
- Fuse their monstersAlbaz fuses with their monsters; the table below says into what. Normal Summoning it costs the Normal Summon a small maid needs, so do it only when a maid line isn’t coming. FotWD from your hand gets Albaz without the Normal Summon (FotWD summons Ecclesia, and Ecclesia’s Quick Effect summons Albaz), but its lock then leaves you only Level 8 Fusions and Synchros from the Extra Deck: Lady’s and Filia Regis still work, House, Sheou, Seal, Striker Dragon and S:P don’t.
- Then your maid lineLady’s Fusion only works in a Standby Phase, so on your turn Changeover is your Fusion: House, Sheou or Filia Regis (only Filia after FotWD’s lock). Its GY effect returns a maid to your hand and adds it back, so you can activate it twice, and with House out that return destroys a monster.
- Battle PhaseAt the start of the Battle Phase, small maids swap into Level 8 or higher Dragonmaids from your hand or GY. Tinkhec adds 2000 ATK. Sangen Kaimen in the Battle Phase adds Kitchen and summons a FIRE Dragon from your hand.
↺ Order of operations.
Which answer
| Card | Use it when | Watch out |
|---|---|---|
| Dragonmaid Lorpar | Their negate monster is face-up | It’s not a Quick Effect, and only stops effects activated on the field, this turn. Continuous effects stay. |
| The Fallen & The Virtuous | Any face-up card | One a turn. It targets and destroys. |
| Fallen of Albaz | They have monsters to fuse with | Needs a discard. It can never use your own other monsters, or their face-down ones. |
| Filia Regis | Changeover: a Dragon Fusion + a Level 7+ Dragon (Lady’s + Lorpar, Tinkhec or Cehrmba) | Quick Effect in either Main Phase: banishes one of their cards, on the field or in their GY. A banish on the field returns one of your Dragons to the hand. Return a small maid, and House destroys too. |
| House Dragonmaid | Changeover: any Dragonmaid + any Dragon | Each Dragon you return to your hand afterwards (Changeover’s GY effect, Filia, Tidying next turn) destroys a monster |
| Bystials | LIGHT or DARK monsters in their GY | Druiswurm sends one of their Special Summoned monsters to the GY when it’s sent from the field to the GY. Baldrake banishes their next Extra Deck summon if you Tribute another LIGHT or DARK monster. |
| S:P Little Knight | Two Effect Monsters, one from your Extra Deck | Banishes 1 card on the field or in a GY, but no direct attacks that turn |
| Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon in the GY | On your turn | Shuffles a Level 8 Fusion from your GY or banishment, 1 card on the field and itself into the Deck |
Albaz fusions
| Their monster | Albaz makes | Then |
|---|---|---|
| An Extra Deck monster (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Link) | Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon | Once a turn, Quick Effect: send an Albaz Fusion from your Extra Deck to banish 1 monster. Not next turn. |
| A LIGHT monster | Albion the Branded Dragon | Fusion Summoned, it fuses again by banishing materials from your hand, field or GY |
| A monster with 2500+ ATK | Titaniklad the Ash Dragon | Gains 100 ATK per Level of its materials |
| A Dragon | Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon | Attacks monsters once per material |
| Two: a LIGHT or DARK monster and an Effect Monster | The Dragon that Devours the Dogma | Unaffected by other cards while an Ecclesia monster is on the field or in a GY |
Lethal math
ATK: Sheou 3500, Borreload 3000 (+500 with Striker Dragon), House, Filia, Mirrorjade 3000, Cehrmba 2800, Lorpar and Tinkhec 2700, Lubellion, the Bystials, Albion and Titaniklad 2500 or more, Lady’s 2000, Albaz 1800, small maids 500. Tinkhec gives a Dragonmaid 2000 more. S:P’s banish stops direct attacks that turn.
Hand traps
| Hand trap | In top lists | Hits hardest | Play around it | If it lands |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring | 89% | Parlor’s send, Kitchen’s add, Chamber’s search, Lady’s summon from the Deck, Hospitality (it sends from the Deck), FotWD’s Ecclesia, Seal’s float | With a second piece, lead with the effect you can afford to lose | On Lady’s effect: Lady’s is still on the field and still makes Sheou in their Standby Phase |
| Maxx “C”, Mulcharmy Fuwalos, Mulcharmy Purulia | 94%, 70%, 22% | Your summons. Maxx “C” draws for each Special Summon: 4 in Line 1, 5 in Line 2. Fuwalos only counts summons from the Deck or Extra Deck (3 and 4), Purulia only your Normal Summon (1). | Ash them: for Ash, drawing counts as adding from the Deck, so it negates Maxx “C” and the Mulcharmys. | Stop once Lady’s is on the field and Set what you have. She still makes Sheou on their turn, and every summon you skip is a card they don’t draw. |
| Droll & Lock Bird | 75% | Kitchen’s add then Chamber’s search | Line 1 from Parlor and Line 2 add only once (Chamber’s search), so Droll does nothing to them. Line 1 from Kitchen adds twice. | Droll on Kitchen below |
| Infinite Impermanence, Effect Veiler | 33%, 27% | Lady’s in their Standby Phase (Impermanence from their hand, since they control no cards). Veiler only in your Main Phase. | Nothing on your board can stop it before Sheou is out | No Sheou that turn. Seal and Tidying still work, and Lady’s tries again in your Standby Phase. |
| Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion | 29% | Hospitality’s revive (Lady’s in Line 1, Chamber in Line 2), Cehrmba’s summon, Tidying’s GY effect, Sheou’s Standby revive | With Hospitality and Cehrmba both, use Cehrmba first. If they Belle it, Hospitality still works. | Line 1: Lady’s stays in the GY, so no Sheou this turn; Seal is still up. Striker Dragon version: choose Seal (Lady’s + Striker Dragon) or Sheou (keep Lady’s). Line 2: Chamber stays in the GY, so there’s no Lady’s pair. |
| Bystial Magnamhut, Druiswurm | 25%, 7% | Line 1: Lady’s (LIGHT) in your GY before Hospitality brings her back. Line 2 and the Striker Dragon version: Chamber (DARK) in your GY between Striker Dragon and Hospitality. On their turn: the maid in your GY that Sheou would summon. | Parlor’s and Kitchen’s pairs (Lorpar and Tinkhec) are WIND and FIRE, so Bystials can’t break them. The Striker Dragon version of Line 1 never leaves Lady’s in the GY. | Line 1: you keep Seal, but no Sheou. Striker Dragon version: Lady’s is still on the field; Link her with Striker Dragon into Seal, or keep her for Sheou. Line 2: Hospitality has no Chamber to revive, so no pair, no Lady’s and no Seal. A maid in your hand can take Hospitality’s summon instead. |
| Dominus Impulse | 16% | Lady’s summon effect, Hospitality, and Lady’s Fusion in their Standby Phase | It’s once a turn: lead with the summon you can afford to lose | That summon fails. Going first, their GY usually has no Trap yet, so your card isn’t destroyed. |
| Dominus Purge | 11% | Searches from the Deck: Kitchen’s add, Chamber’s search, High Spirits | It’s once a turn: with two searches, lead with the one you can afford to lose | That search fails. In Line 1, no Hospitality means Lady’s can’t come back after Seal: keep her on the field for Sheou instead of making Seal. |
| Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit | 14% | Lady’s in their Standby Phase, Chamber on the field | — | It destroys the card but doesn’t negate: Lady’s Fusion still makes Sheou, and Chamber’s search still resolves. Once Cehrmba is face-up, it can’t destroy your Dragon Fusions. |
| Crossout Designator | 35% | Only cards they also run: F&V, Ash, Droll, Maxx “C”, Bystials, Albaz, FotWD, Ecclesia. It can’t name your maids. | It’s a Quick-Play, so it has to be Set first: it can’t touch your first turn going first. | Every copy of the named card is negated that turn |
| Nibiru, the Primal Being | 12% | Line 2 and Line 1’s Striker Dragon version: the fifth summon comes before Seal | See the counter below | If Seal was on the field, it floats Albaz, which fuses with Nibiru (LIGHT, 3000 ATK) into Albion or Titaniklad |
Droll on Kitchen
Special Summon Lady’s Dragonmaid by banishing Kitchen from your field and Tinkhec from your GY. Lady’s summons Parlor from your Deck instead of Chamber, and Parlor sends Dragonmaid Changeover to the GY.
Changeover’s GY effect: return Parlor to your hand and add Changeover. Activate it and fuse Lady’s on the field with Parlor in your hand into Dragonmaid Sheou.
In their Standby Phase, Sheou summons Lady’s from your GY. Lady’s summons Chamber from your Deck, and Chamber searches (Droll has ended). Lady’s then fuses herself and the banished Tinkhec into Filia Regis.

Your own hand traps
- Ash (3): their first search, or their Maxx “C” or Mulcharmy (for Ash, drawing counts as adding from the Deck).
- Droll (2): after their first add. It also stops your adds for the rest of that turn.
- Maxx “C” (1): when they start a long combo.
- Bystials: a Quick Effect from your hand while they control a monster. Banish a LIGHT or DARK monster from their GY that they want back.
- A Set F&V: a destroy on their turn. Set it going first.
Matchups
| Deck | What to fear | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Dracotail | Secreterion Dragon (in almost every list): while their Fusion Summoned Secreterion is up, your Special Summoned Dragons and Spellcasters can’t activate effects. That’s every maid you Special Summon, Lady’s, Sheou, Seal and Borreload. Dracotail Arthalion comes back from their GY when 2+ monsters go to the GY at once, and an Albaz fusion sends two. Dracotail Horn returns an Attack Position monster to the hand or Extra Deck. Dracotail Sting banishes a monster and a Spell/Trap from your GY (Cehrmba, Tidying). Their Fusion materials destroy (Pan) or negate (Mululu) a monster. They run Mirrorjade: bounce it, don’t destroy it (see Branded). Their hand traps: Droll 78%, Bystial Magnamhut 55%, Ghost Belle 46%. | Summon Lady’s, Sheou and your maid in Defense Position: Horn only hits Attack Position (Seal, a Link, can’t avoid it). Save Sheou for their Quick-Effect Fusion (Mululu, Faimena). Seal’s bounce sends a Fusion to their Extra Deck, not the GY, so Arthalion doesn’t come back. Against Secreterion, Sheou negates the Fusion that would make it; once it’s out, Tidying and F&V still work, and going second a Normal Summoned Albaz isn’t Special Summoned, so it can fuse Secreterion away. |
| Kewl Tune (and the Kewl Tune engine) | Kewl Tune Loudness War: their other Tuners can’t be targeted or destroyed. Kewl Tune B2B: when you activate a monster effect, it brings back a Tuner and Synchro Summons, twice a turn. Kewl Tune RS negates a face-up card in the Main Phase. Their hand traps: Ghost Belle 100%, Infinite Impermanence 83%, Droll 75%, Ghost Ogre 62%, Crossout Designator 62%. | Seal’s bounce doesn’t target, and Albaz fusing doesn’t target or destroy, so both get past Loudness War. Use Sheou on B2B or RS. Going second, F&V Loudness War itself: it doesn’t protect itself. |
| Elfnote (and the Elfnote engine) | Elfnote June Pride in the center Main Monster Zone stops attacks except from center zones, and its Quick Effect returns it to summon Elfnotes. Their hand traps: Droll 79%, Bystial Magnamhut 54%, Crossout Designator 54%. | Sheou on June Pride’s Quick Effect. Going second, remove June Pride before the Battle Phase, or attack from your center zone. |
| Branded | Mirrorjade: if your card sends it to the GY or banishes it, all your monsters are destroyed in the End Phase. Sheou’s negate destroys it, so it counts; a bounce to the Extra Deck doesn’t. Rindbrumm the Striking Dragon negates Fusion, Synchro and Link effects: Sheou, Seal, Borreload and Lady’s Standby effect. Branded Retribution negates effects that Special Summon. Their Bystials banish your DARK pair. Their hand traps: Droll 73%, Bystial Magnamhut 71%. | Answer Mirrorjade with Seal’s bounce or Tidying: back in the Extra Deck, it can’t wipe your board. If Sheou or F&V has to hit it, get Cehrmba face-up first (the Striker Dragon version of Line 1). Against Rindbrumm, use Tidying and F&V (a Trap and a Spell) or bait it with Seal before Sheou. Prefer Parlor and Kitchen pairs over Chamber’s. |
| Clown Crew | Clown Crew Biancaviso: Tribute Summoned by Tributing a Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum or Link Monster, it negates your face-up cards, one per monster Tributed. It can Tribute Summon in your Main Phase. Their hand traps: Droll 90%, Ghost Belle 65%, Nibiru 61%, Crossout Designator 40%, Ghost Ogre 37%. | Sheou negates Biancaviso’s effect. Seal can bounce the monster they’d Tribute. |
| Sky Striker | Sky Striker Mecha - Widow Anchor negates one of your monsters this turn, and with 3+ Spells in their GY takes it until the End Phase. Sky Striker Mecha Modules - Multirole stops you responding to their Spells. Most of their cards are Set Quick-Plays. Their hand traps: Droll 86%, Ghost Belle 32%, Crossout Designator 27%. No Bystials, no Nibiru. | Sheou can negate Multirole’s effect when they use it, and Widow Anchor while Multirole hasn’t been used. Seal can bounce Multirole, and Tidying can return a Set card. Albaz fuses their Link (Zero) into Mirrorjade. See the Sky Striker Field Guide for their side. |
Decklist
| Section | Cards |

| Monsters (28) | 3 Kitchen Dragonmaid, 3 Parlor Dragonmaid, 3 Chamber Dragonmaid, 1 Dragonmaid Lorpar, 1 Dragonmaid Tinkhec, 1 Dragonmaid Cehrmba, 3 The Bystial Lubellion, 1 Bystial Magnamhut, 1 Bystial Druiswurm, 1 Bystial Baldrake, 2 Fallen of the White Dragon, 1 Fallen of Albaz, 1 Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous, 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, 2 Droll & Lock Bird, 1 Maxx “C” |
| Spells (11) | 2 Dragonmaid Hospitality, 1 Dragonmaid Changeover, 3 Branded in High Spirits, 3 The Fallen & The Virtuous, 1 Sangen Kaimen, 1 Branded Regained |
| Traps (1) | 1 Dragonmaid Tidying |
| Extra (15) | 2 House Dragonmaid, 1 Dragonmaid Sheou, 1 Lady’s Dragonmaid, 1 Filia Regis, 1 Titaniklad the Ash Dragon, 1 Albion the Branded Dragon, 1 Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon, 1 Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon, 1 The Dragon that Devours the Dogma, 1 Borreload Savage Dragon, 1 Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon, 1 Striker Dragon, 1 Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres, 1 S:P Little Knight |
Why these ratios
- Branded and Bystials give the maids more resources and recycle more of the GY.
- Albaz or FotWD is the best target for Seal’s float when you want to remove their monsters on turn 2.
- Dogma recycles Tidying: when it’s summoned, it shuffles up to 2 cards from any GY or banishment into the Deck, so a banished Tidying can be searched again.
- Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon + F&V + hand traps won games with no maid in the opening hand (Line 5).
- The Branded engine is there for F&V. See What the Branded cards are for.
- 3 of each small maid, 1 of each Dragon form: every maid is a starter, and the maids fetch the Dragon forms.
- 2 Hospitality. Most Dragonmaid lists run 3; see Flex options.
Flex options
Cards other Dragonmaid lists play that this one doesn’t:
- A third Dragonmaid Hospitality.
- A second Dragonmaid Tidying.
- Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis and Salamangreat Almiraj in the Extra Deck.
- Infinite Impermanence.
- Branded Fusion (Limited 1).
Against a lot of Magistus Fairy Tail:
- Secreterion Dragon (a Dragon + a Spellcaster). While your Fusion Summoned Secreterion is on the field, their Special Summoned Dragons and Spellcasters can’t activate effects. Once a turn it summons a Dragon or Spellcaster from your GY and puts the other on the bottom of your Deck: bring back Ecclesia after she was its material with a maid or Striker Dragon (Changeover can fuse them), then make a Level 8 Synchro. Albaz can also fuse into it with one of their Spellcasters. It needs an Extra Deck slot, and it loses 100 ATK for each of your banished cards.
Easy to forget
- Lady’s summon doesn’t start a chain, and there’s one copy. Once she’s in the GY she can only come back by revival (Hospitality, Cehrmba, Sheou, Tidying); a second pair only helps if she’s back in your Extra Deck.
- Lady’s Standby effect works in their Standby Phase and in yours. If they stopped it on their turn, it’s back in your next Standby Phase.
- Sheou’s negate swaps it for House. That House isn’t properly summoned, so it can’t be revived.
- House misses timing. Tidying and Filia have to be Chain Link 1. A Fusion returning to the Extra Deck doesn’t count.
- Seal’s bounce needs the Extra Monster Zone and doesn’t target. Its float is mandatory, once a turn, and the monster has 0 ATK.
- Albaz only fuses with their face-up monsters, never your others.
- High Spirits’ discard is optional. Reveal your only maid, send Albion, and keep the maid.
- FotWD’s hand summon limits you to Level 8 Fusions and Synchros for the rest of the turn. Normal Summoned or summoned by Ecclesia, it has no lock.
- Kitchen always sends a Dragonmaid monster from your hand after it adds.
- Hospitality is once a turn, and Ash can hit it because it sends from the Deck.
- Tidying gives one effect a turn. Its GY summon goes back to your hand in the End Phase.
- Lorpar’s discard is your turn only; Tinkhec’s is a Quick Effect. Both are safe from destruction while you control a Fusion.
- Small maids’ Battle Phase effects work in their Battle Phase too.
